Course Descriptions

Basic Rider’s Course (BRC) for Beginning Riders

Our Basic Rider’s Course is designed for the person with little or no riding experience. You supply the desire and enthusiasm to learn, along with your own protective gear. We supply: professionally trained instructors, beginner’s motorcycles, complete course insurance, classroom, and range area.

The BRC is a two-day course, taught on weekends for your convenience. On the first day, we teach you the basic skills needed to safely operate a motorcycle. Day Two deals with street riding situations and will give you the confidence and skills necessary to be a safe and happy rider.

(Students under 18 must have prior approval of parent or guardian.)
BRC Tuition Fee – $250.00
Advanced Registration with full deposit required.

*Students must supply their own eye protection, gloves, long-sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants, and over-the-ankle boots.

Basic Rider’s Course 2 ( BRC2)

If you’re an experienced rider, Freedom of Road Riders® can show you how to get the most from yourself and your motorcycle. Our one-day Basic Rider’s Course 2 will help fine-tune the skills you already have and teach you new techniques to make riding safer and more enjoyable.

Skills practice class provides an opportunity to improve basic street riding techniques and crash avoidance maneuvers.

We teach the course on weekends for your convenience. You supply your own bike (with current liability insurance), proof of your motorcycle endorsement, protective riding gear, and the desire and enthusiasm to learn. We supply everything else. Our classes are fully approved by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and  graduates qualify for insurance discounts with many companies.

BRC2 Tuition fee- $130.00

Advanced Riders Course (ARC)
All motorcycles must be in good mechanical condition and approved by the instructor per MSF & MMSP guidelines.

*Students must supply their own D.O.T. approved helmet (3/4 or full face), eye protection, gloves, long-sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants, and over- the –ankle boots.

The Advanced Rider’s Course is a one-day course for experienced riders who desire to learn and practice more in-depth riding techniques.

The ARC is geared to introduce concepts in time and space management. The goal is to provide sufficient technical information, dynamic performance feedback, and peer group interaction to achieve an increase in perceptual filtering capacities to reduce risk while riding.

Classroom activities use small group discussions and interactive activities to address personal risk management strategies.

Riders will be challenged in a variety of exercises dealing with the fundamentals of fluid control inputs to precise rider/motorcycle dynamics in both slow speed and higher speed riding.

We teach the course on weekends for your convenience. You supply your own bike (with current liability insurance), proof of your motorcycle endorsement, protective riding gear, and the desire and enthusiasm to learn. We supply everything else. Our classes are fully approved by the MSF & MMSP and  graduates qualify for insurance discounts with many companies.
