Skills practice class provides an opportunity to improve basic street riding techniques and crash avoidance maneuvers.
We teach the course on weekends for your convenience. You supply your own bike (with current liability insurance), proof of your motorcycle endorsement, protective riding gear, and the desire and enthusiasm to learn. We supply everything else. Advanced Riders Course (ARC)
All motorcycles must be in good mechanical condition and approved by the instructor per MSF & MMSP guidelines.
*Students must supply their own D.O.T. approved helmet (3/4 or full face), eye protection, gloves, long-sleeved shirt or jacket, long pants, and over- the –ankle boots.
The Advanced Rider’s Course is a one-day course for experienced riders who desire to learn and practice more in-depth riding techniques.
The ARC is geared to introduce concepts in time and space management. The goal is to provide sufficient technical information, dynamic performance feedback, and peer group interaction to achieve an increase in perceptual filtering capacities to reduce risk while riding.
Classroom activities use small group discussions and interactive activities to address personal risk management strategies.
Riders will be challenged in a variety of exercises dealing with the fundamentals of fluid control inputs to precise rider/motorcycle dynamics in both slow speed and higher speed riding.
